8 Wins in a Row for Sports Betting Champ
Sports Betting Champ is on a winning streak once again with another 8 big wins posted today. Normally, I provide some commentary on the games however due to the number of games won, and the desire to catch up to the winning games played with another 4 being played in the immediate future, this post will simply summarize the winning games and scores for your reference.
On the 4th of August, the game selected was Kansas City Royals verses Boston Redsox. The game was won by Kansas City in a close game finishing 4-3. Here’s how the scoreboard looked with Boston batting up first; 2-0, 0-1, 0-3, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 1-x.
The next day on the 5th of August, their were 2 games being played. The 1st game was between Tampa Bay Rays verses Cleveland Indians. This was an exciting game that finished 8-4 and powered by a great 7th innings for Tampa Bay. Here’s how the scoreboard looked with Cleveland batting up; 1-1, 0-0, 2-0, 0-3, 0-0, 0-0, 0-4, 1-0, 0-x. The next game that day was New York Mets verses San Diego Padres with the Mets being favored to win which they did by a single run in a really exciting 6-5 finish. On the 9th of August, the Detroit Tigers fronted up against the Oakland Athletics. This game was a slaughter with Detroit easily wining 10-2 with 7 of their runs coming in the 7th and 8th. Here’s how it looked with Oakland batting first; 1-0, 0-1, 0-1, 1-1, 0-0, 0-0, 0-3, 0-4, 0-x. On the 10th of August, we were treated to a super-exciting game between Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins with the Royals just managing to win the game 5-4. Here’s how the final score looked like after an exhausting 12 innings. Minnesota bat first up; 0-0, 0-0, 2-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-2, 2-0, 0-2, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-1. Whoa! The next day on the 11th of August, the pick was for the Minnesota Twins against the New York Yankees with a 4-0 washout. Here’s how it looked with the Yankees batting up; 0-0, 0-2, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0 0-1, 0-0, 0-1, 0-x.
The final 2 games were on the 18th and 19th of August with the Texas Rangers against the Detroit Tigers, and the New York Mets against the Atlanta Braves. First up, Texas actually lost against Detroit however as they were rated the underdog during selection, the bet was on the run-line which allows a team to lose by 1 run and still win the bet. Here’s how the final score looked; 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 0-0, 4-0, 4-4, 0-0. As if to dismiss the critics, they came back on the 20th and killed the Tigers 9-1 in a bloodbath. Finally, on the 19th of August the New York Mets were up against the Atlanta Braves which the Braves won 7-3 with 5 of their runs coming in the exciting 8th inning. So there you go. The next game was the Minnesota Twins verses the Chicago White Sox with Kansas City not favored to win. This was an exciting game that was undecided until the end. The Royals were the first to stand up to plate and they hit 2 runs generating a 2-0 lead. The next 2 innings were scoreless and then Oakland finally got a single tightening the lead to 2-1 for Kansas City. The 5th went scoreless and then in the 6th, the Royals struck again with a repeat 2-run performance from the 1st inning. The Athletics could not answer and the game went 4-1. The 7th was scoreless and then in the 8th, Oakland scored another single tightening the game again, but this time to 4-2 in favor of the Royals. The 9th inning came up and it was one of those classic games where the game was not at all decided. The Royals batted first but could not score again for the day and it was do-or-die for Oakland trailing 2-4. Unfortunately for them, they could not even score another single and the game finished with the Kansas City Royals leaving the ballpark as the winners 4-2. The final game on the same day was the Washington Nationals against the Cincinnati Reds. The Washington Nationals were the favorites to win and they came out strongly with 2 runs in the 1st and 3 runs in the 2nd taking the score to a 5-0 commanding lead. The 3rd was scoreless with the Cincinnati Reds finally scoring a single bringing the score to 5-1 to Washington. The next 4 innings were scoreless and then in the 9th, the Reds managed another single but it was nowhere near enough to undo the damage caused in the 1st 2 innings by a psyched-up Washington team. So the game ended 5-2 and the scoreboard with Cincinnati batting up first looked like this; 0-2, 0-3, 0-0, 1-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 1-x.

The next game was the Chicago White Sox verses the Detroit Tigers… This was an exciting and tense game with Detroit leading the entire game only to slip in the 9th and let the White Sox finish victorious by 1 run winning the game 6-5. The 1st started with a single and the early lead going to Detroit. The 3rd saw Chicago White Sox convert a hit into a single to tie the game but only for a few minutes until the Tigers started to bat which saw them score 3 runs and take back the lead, leading 4-1. The 4th, 5th and 6th were scoreless but then the White Sox scored 3 big runs to equal the Tigers 4 runs… but only for a few minutes until Detroit came back batting in the same innings only to steal back the lead again with a single nudging them back into a 1 run lead on 5-4. Like I said - tense but exciting. The 8th went scoreless making the 9th a do-or-die inning for both teams with the Detroit Tigers holding the lead by a run. Fortunately for the White Sox and the Sports Betting Champ subscribers, Chicago came in batting with a purpose and hit 2 strong runs taking the lead finally with a narrow but winning 1 run lead with a 6-5 score. The final game of the already very successful day was between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Francisco Giants. This was a fairly 1-sided game with the Diamondbacks winning triumphantly 10-2 even though they were not the favorites and a lot of people were betting big on the mighty Giants to win the game. The 1st inning gave no hint of the carnage to come with neither team scoring a run. Then came the 2nd and the Diamondbacks wiped the smiles of the Giants fans with 5 huge runs taking the game to a sensational 5-0 lead to Arizona. The 3rd saw another single go to the Diamondbacks and the score was now 6-0. The Giants finally scored a run in the 5th after a scoreless 4th but the score was still solidly in Arizona’s favor at 6-1. The 6th went scoreless and then the Diamondbacks rubbed salt in the Giants wounds with another 4 big runs. San Francisco managed another token single but the game’s faith seemed sealed at 10-2 which is how the game ended with no more runs being scored.
